17 girls flee Gazipur juvenile protected house, 12 caught

Twelve of them have been located whilst five are even now missing. They fled the facility from the 2nd-floor window about 12pm

Seventeen juveniles escaped from “Safe Residential Centre”- Hefajotider Nirapad Abasan Kendra -in Gazipur’s Mogorkhal location on Friday night. 

Twelve of them have been discovered though five are still missing. They fled the facility from the second-ground window all over 12pm.

Office of Woman Affairs Extra Director Shahnawaz Dilruba Khan stated: “Among the ladies that live below, there is a target of rape by her father, just one with speech and hearing impairment, some with intellectual incapacity, some still left powering by their mom and dad at infancy, some are shed ladies who were being introduced listed here and some fled from their house to marry at an early age. They do not know any better. Three among them led the escape.”

The centre’s authorities rescued 4 ladies from the neighbourhood shortly after the incident. Law enforcement later uncovered 8 much more from the Mirzapur railway station in Tangail on Saturday.

“Authorities currently managed to bring 12 of them back to the secure household,” reported Shahnawaz.

Look for is still on to find five some others who fled from the Division of Females Affairs-run protected home.

A 3-member probe committee led by Further Deputy Commissioner Didar Mohammad Maksudul Chowdhury was fashioned to examine the issue.
